Have you ever wondered if purple markers were created using purely purple? Have you ever seen colors change as they stretch? During the past week, for Science, our pre-kinder class got to see first hand how different secondary colors were created.
First, they marked the tissue paper with different secondary colored markers.
They were careful to separate the colors so that they do not run into each other.
These papers were carefully rolled up at placed on a tray filled with shallow water.
Soon, the colors took off! Stretching into different primary colors.
The children quickly recorded the changes on their paper. See the changes!
A quick note.
These science observation notes that students take will be sent home once every three months. They will be created into a science notebook.
