The weather is warmer... indicating SPRING is FINALLY here!
I wanted to update everyone with what has been going on with out pre-school during this transition from Winter to Spring. Also, we have a FACEBOOK! It is currently under construction but parents can look for their children's pictures and our weekly activities there.
In April, we had an EASTER party. The students decorated eggs, made baskets, went on a egg hunt, posed for easter pictures, and blew lots and LOTS of bubbles!
First things first,
THE EGG:
We both inked and wrapped the eggs.
Either way, the students were amazed to see the eggs change.
Next, we had an egg hunt.
The mission was to find the golden egg to get an extra treat from the Easter Bunny.
After the second group of kids, I was afraid I hid the egg too well. It was placed in plane sight in the lower branches of our small tree. But lo and behold, someone finally found it!
Yay~ to our winner!
Each class posed for pictures with their adorable masks and hats.
See the little bunnies?
Finally, BUBBLE TIME!!
Wooo~ Look at them fly~!
Funny Incident:
We blew up a large bunny (pictured above) for the students to pose for pictures. There was a breeze so the bunny moved, slightly. But one of the students was convinced that it would fly away therefore, held onto it crying till we had to 'save' it by bringing it inside away from the wind. ^^
MAY UPDATES!
We will be hosting out annual Children's Day celebration on May 5th, 2011. Please be sure to send your child to school in comfortable clothing because they will be running and jumping (we rented a jumper!) around.

May 5th is also our picture day! Pre-K students must be present to take their pictures on this day!
