Already another year has passed and we start fresh to a new year.
During the last few months of 2010, we had our Halloween Party, Thanksgiving Day re-enacting, and Christmas Festivals. We had a lot of fun and took lots of pictures, but because of the many end of the year festivities, I have not had the time to update the blog as often as I wanted to.
First:
Halloween
All our children dressed up in a variety of costumes and went from classroom to classroom to receive treats. They looked absolutely adorable in their costumes! The older children were used to our traditions so they knew where to put the candies they received, but the younger children seemed a bit confused and refused to let go of their sweets.
Our band of heros

Looks like he really did not want to put his sweets into his basket. haha
Afterwards, our Pre-K class dressed in their normal attires and went on a field trip to a nearby pumpkin patch. Pictures of their trip will be put into their album. Do to the request of some of the parents, we will not post them here.
But all in all, it was a very fun day for all of us.
Every year, our school does a mini Thanksgiving Day re-enactment where the Pilgrims first come to America and meet the Indians who help them survive on this newfound land.
The Pre-K class always play the Pilgrims and our younger children play the Indians.
The Pilgrims are ready to set sail on a dangerous journey!
After many months on the ship, the Pilgrims are tired and bored.
Who are you?
Giving thanks.
Bonus:
The Mini Tribe.
(There were many more pictures but some of our parents requested their child's picture not be uploaded onto our blog so we will not post them here. If your child is in Pre-K, be sure to look for the full collection in your child's album!
Last month we had our annual Christmas Recital! Hopefully all our parents were able to join us. The kids have been practicing for over a month and they performed beautifully. (With the exception of our baby class where 4 out of 5 kids had stage fright. But during the rehearsal, they did very well!) There are no pictures of this event as I was too busy emceeing to take pictures. But we have the video footage that we showed the children and they absolutely loved it!
Before the event, the children were able to meet Santa, and I am happy to say that only 1 child cried. Everyone else was very excited and happy.
That concludes our 2010 year, and during 2011, our staff promises to continue to provide the very best care for all our children.
Thank you!
